I Love You!!

I am so excited!  I found my and Kyle's song for the playlist.   It's called I Love You, by Saigon Kick.  It is a really hard song to find and I don't know if it will keep working or not because it already failed once when I was trying to add it.  Anyway, this is the song that he played in his car my Sophomore year of High School when he was driving me home from the Super Dance.  We have both always remembered it and it stuck.  This song even played a part in the way that he proposed to me.  Wow...look at how far we've come!!  It seems like forever ago driving home in that little yellow VW Bug.

Tooth Fairy Makes First Visit!!

Jackson lost his first tooth a few days ago.  It's been loose forever and he finally let me pull it.  He went around talking about it all day saying  "I can't believe it didn't even hurt!".  We made a little bag with a drawstring for him to leave for the Tooth Fairy and he was so nervous that she wouldn't be able to get it untied or that she would lose the tooth in the dark.  He is my worrier.  I wonder where he gets that from?...   Anyway, she made it and got the job done without any problems.

If you can see the great big scratches on his face, they are courtesy of Natalie.  She has to have a way to defend herself with two big brothers, so she just gets her claws out.  The worst is when Cooper is sleeping in the car and leaning on her seat and she scratches him.  That always makes for a fun car ride!

.....and six months later....

Well, if there is anyone left that still checks my blog, you have seen that I'm not very good at keeping up on this.  My excuse is three kids age 5 and under who are so fun, but so high maintainance!  As soon as they see me go for the computer or the phone, they gang up on me.  What can I say, they've got me outnumbered.  I have put together a photo album of our last six months if anyone wants to catch up!   Just click on the link below.

Our First Blog!!!

Ok, I am finally surrendering to the world of blogging.  I have been blog stalking all of you for a while now, so it's time to start my own.  No promises that I'll be very good at keeping it updated, but we'll see how it goes.  Thanks to my sister-in-law Kami, I am starting to get this figured out.
We've had a busy month, so here are a few of the highlights.  The most exciting thing was my dad coming home from Iraq!  He has been over there since November and we are so glad to have him back home.

Hayden, Mallory, Jackson, and Carter getting ready to welcome
Grandpa Craig home at the airport.

Then we had Jackson's pre-school graduation.  He did a great job as the troll in Three Billy Goats Gruff!  I can't believe he will be going to Kindergarten next year.  I will be that mom crying on the corner as he gets on the school bus.  He's really excited and keeps asking when it's going to start.

Then we made a trip to the cabin in Island Park with all of the cousins.  The weather didn't cooperate with our plans, but we did get out for a short walk to the river in between snow storms!  Can you believe snow in June?  It was fun just to see everyone and the kids can't get enough of each other.  Kyle and my dad did get in a little fishing but the fish weren't too interested.

Natalie and Raegan

All of the cousins with my mom and Kelli.  Natalie and I were the photographers.

A Favorite Mother's Day picture.  Kyle was the photographer.
I'll get a picture of him on here one of these days if he'll let me.

And in the middle of all of that, Kyle had his 31st birthday and we had our 9th wedding anniversary!  I can't believe how fast time flies.  I still have a couple of months left of being in my 20's, so I'm trying to rub that in Kyle's face as much as I can!
